WE ARE HIRING: INTERNAL AUDITOR
We are recruiting for a reputable Restaurant & Lounge in Ilorin seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented *Internal Auditor* to strengthen its internal control systems and ensure financial integrity.
*Location:* Ilorin, Kwara State
*Employment Type:* Full-time
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Conduct regular audits of financial records, sales transactions, inventory, and operational processes.
* Evaluate internal control systems and recommend improvements to prevent fraud and leakages.
* Review daily revenue reports (POS, cash, transfers) and ensure accuracy and completeness.
* Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements (VAT, PAYE, WHT, and other statutory obligations).
* Perform periodic stock audits on food, beverages, and other inventory items.
* Investigate discrepancies, irregularities, or suspected fraud cases.
* Prepare audit reports and present findings with actionable recommendations to management.
* Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and best practices.
*Requirements:*
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in auditing, preferably within hospitality or retail.
* Strong knowledge of internal audit practices and Nigerian regulatory framework.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/audit software.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
* High level of integrity and professionalism.
* Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or CIA) is an added advantage.
