☀️ A Note on the Forecast ☀️
A weather warning has been issued for high forecast temperatures over the comings days, and a strong UV index (Powerful Sun Rays).
With this in mind it is key in these conditions we all look after ourselves in general but especially whilst out on the course and below are a few tips to help prevent heat exhaustion and play the full 18 holes to the best of our energy levels.
Always wear sunscreen or sunblock.
If you feel unwell and unable to walk off the course please call the staff in the shop.
Always wear a hat/cap and cover the neck, if possible.
Avoid black/dark clothing, always wear light loose-fitting clothes
Drink plenty before your round (pre-hydrating will help you stay hydrated)
Stay hydrated during your round (a couple of mouthfuls of fluid on each hole will help)
Avoid caffeine drinks an hour before your round, and during your round.
If you experience any of the following;
-Feel dizziness and/or confusion
-Feel sick and/or shivery
-Fast breathing or a fast pulse rate
Please seek shaded area immediately and drink fluids.
