Finally by instruction from Police Scotland our taxi company is now asking you the purpose for your journey. Trying to eliminate non essential travel. Bringing more safety to our drivers whom sadly two have been taken by this virus.... Obviously some will chance this by telling a porky or two... However drivers can now refuse to take you in their taxis if you are carrying alcohol or under the influenced of any substance... Also drivers can refuse to take more than one person in the cab. Theses are at the drivers discretion.
Police Scotland will be randomly stopping us to ask the passenger the purpose of their journey
If in an emergency you need me don't hesitate to call... I am here for you all###
