Our Vehicle Maintenance Units work day and night to maintain our fleet to the highest standards.
Seen here at our west London VMU are a selection of vehicles from our fleet undergoing maintenance; An Irizar i6s, 59-seat touring coach undergoing a routine Safety Inspection, a Mercedes Citaro airport bus carrying the livery of British Airways for whom it works under contract, receiving a scheduled Lubrication Service and, in the background, a Van Hool EX 57-seat coach in BM Coaches livery, originally purchased to operate domestic and international express lines, but now utilised for a mixture of transfers, private hires and rail-replacement duties, which is undergoing a power-unit overhaul.

Cromford, Derbyshire, may not have been the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution, but thanks to Robert Arkwright building the Worlds first water-powered cotton-spinning mill there in 1771, it was certainly “in from the start”.
For a couple of weeks a year, Cromford Meadows, just across the road from the Mill, is the location for the Park & Ride service for the Matlock Bath Illuminations, itself dating from a celebration of Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee in 1897.

Just two weeks ago, we were contacted by a coach operator who was struggling to source a high-capacity coach for a week-long tour in France. With demand at a peak and limited availability, they turned to us for support and we were more than happy to help.

Our owner has worked with Linburg for nearly 20 years and has seen first-hand the investment they’ve made in expanding and upgrading their fleet. For this tour, we’re pleased to be supplying a brand-new Irizar i6, a modern, high-spec vehicle ideal for long-distance touring.

This is a great example of how our work supports both sides of the industry. While we’re here to help customers find reliable transport, we also step in to support operators when they face challenges, whether that’s a last-minute gap or an unfulfilled booking.

It’s something we’re seeing more often, operators turning to us not just as a broker, but as a trusted partner who can help deliver when it matters most.
