Your Local taxi/local driver I believe in fare prices for the customer

Some may know others may not
Angus council have increased our tariffs which comes into effect on Friday 6th March an increase of 50p on the meter
AEROCABS will not be charging the increase as I will be deducting the increase off the fare (50p) at your destination
I believe in fare prices and this increase IS NOT fair on the customer pocket
I also have to pay to get my meter calibrated for this as this is a legal requirement on my taxi operator license so out of pocket for me as I’m against this increase.

As some may be aware, some may not, we have managed to block the Council's, yes the Council, not us, decision to increase the fare structure again. This was done by me, along with a good few signatories, putting in a letter to the Traffic Commissioner Scotland when the fares were due to increase in October. Unfortunately, it appears that one will always favour the other, and our appeal has been rejected, and it would appear the fares will increase before too long.
Again, not our decision.
