Good afternoon all, just thought I’d pop on to tell you all about our bio security measures we will be taking with the rise of strangles🦠
Our box will be thoroughly washed and disinfected after each use with Virkon S disinfectant 🧽
We will have disposable gloves, Virkon S disinfectant spray, and a change of clothes/footwear before we enter any yards 😷
Please let us know if your horse has been poorly or showing any signs of been poorly in the last 72 hours prior to booking so we can reschedule your appointment when all clear ✔️
Any cancellations due to illness can be rescheduled to a later date when clear or less then 48 hours notice will be entitled to there deposit back (up to 50% of the full cost of transport) less than 24 hours notice full payment will be taken 🚚
We will be doing ONE transport job per day so we can disinfect our box and ourself to keep our own and other horses safe! We have limited space available at the moment due to this so please please please give us as much notice as possible unless an emergency!
If your new yard or wherever your traveling to requires a strangles test please make us aware of your results too as we won’t be taking any horses with a antigen result of higher than 0.2 as advised from our vet (vets advise is 0.2 is negative anything over this needs a retest).
