Big news for our fleet!🚛

Our brand-new, fully electric DAF trucks have officially arrived at our Bicester hub! Featuring 42-tonne DAF XF 350 FT and a 19-tonne DAF XB 190 FA trucks, these quiet giants are ready to hit the roads across Oxfordshire and beyond.

We’re passionate about keeping our local community green, reducing road noise, and driving towards a cleaner, sustainable future for our families and local businesses.

Keep an eye out for our drivers out on the road; give them a wave if you spot the new trucks!👋

Reflecting on last month’s RHA Future Forum at The Vox, Birmingham! 🚛

Our Managing Director, Anthony Tattersall, joined fellow industry leaders on stage to speak about Decarbonisation in Practice, sharing how we’re driving real, sustainable change in the transport sector. In preparation for this, he answered some pre questions ahead of the Forum, watch the video to see them all!

Events like the RHA Future Forum are vital for bringing industry experts together to solve the transport sector's biggest operational challenges from green fleet technology to driver welfare.

Thank you to the Road Haulage Association and all the fellow panellists for a fantastic, forward-thinking event!

Achieving Mission Zero standard validates that our operations deliver top-tier efficiency, fleet safety, and genuine environmental stewardship.

"We’re delighted to meet the Gold standards of Mission Zero WRRR & Sustainability for another year! Ensuring quality fleet standards and setting out our roadmap to zero collisions, emissions and prohibitions is key to everything we do"

Ahead of World Mental Health Day tomorrow, we’re taking a moment to reflect on this year’s theme: Lived experiences heard: Real voices, real change💚

Mental health is just as vital as maintaining our sustainable electric fleet. That’s why at Darcica, personal connection and team well-being are built directly into our culture.

Whether our team members are based at our Bicester warehouse or out on the road, our Mental Health First Aider, Mel, is always there to offer a confidential listening ear, dedicated support, or just a quiet chat. Having on-site mental health first aid ensures our workforce feels heard, respected, and backed up every day.

Real change starts with real conversations.

Yesterday, Anthony attended the Freight Decarbonisation Summit! 🚛

Sustainability is at the heart of our family-led business, and we are proud to lead the way in sustainable transport across Oxfordshire.

The summit brought together operators, policymakers, energy providers and technology specialists to confront the realities of delivery and to focus on what happens next.

We're excited for Anthony to bring back the latest insights to help us keep driving towards a better future!
