Good afternoon. Not often I change how I run things however I feel like I do need to give myself a bit of security especially as there have been a few no shows for airport runs.
So going forward any future bookings for airports I am going to ask for a deposit at the time of booking confirmation.
I really didn’t want to do this but I’m ending up out of pocket as covering fuel and wear and tear on my vehicles to pick people up only for them to have used a different company or just not be there at all with no explanation. This means I’ve prioritised their booking but then been given no cancellation details or communication and it’s becoming more common than I’d like.
You may also hear a new voice answering calls or getting back to you as my better half helps me manage bookings and hopefully get back to you sooner.

Morning folks. Just a little reminder that this is one of the busiest times of the year for James as a taxi driver. We appreciate all of your custom that’s contributed to his successful first year as a business owner. James values you not just as clients but as friends too. You are used to seeing James behind the wheel of his vehicle but it goes without saying that’s just a small part of his job. He takes bookings through various platforms and tries to dedicate a few hours each day to go through these as soon as he can, however if he has a full day with bookings, he doesn’t always get a chance so please be patient. Vehicle maintenance is also a priority for James. He does a lot of mileage and as you can appreciate this puts wear and tear on vehicles so he may be off road at some point with one of the vehicles but he will endeavour to work round this. A vehicle being off road isn’t convenient for any of us but sometimes it’s necessary for everyone’s safety.
Lastly we want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable festive season so if you need a taxi last minute, don’t hesitate to call us and if we can’t get you home safe we will try and find someone who can.
From me, please continue to show James the same courtesy he shows you at all times. Me and the kids would like him home safe too for Christmas.

Just a quick reminder to everyone, I will be off duty from 1/9 to 5/9 as I’m having a bit of a break with my family and having some much needed time with my little lad before he starts school full time. As always I appreciate everyone’s custom over the past ten months but my mrs has told me I need a break (I try not to argue with her)
So my phone will be off for four days but any messages and voicemails left over this period I will get back to you as soon as I get back on the 5/9.

Just a quick reminder that I work on an advanced booking basis. I will always do my best to fit you in at short notice if possible but if I’m booked up then my existing bookings take priority. If for any reason I can’t accommodate you, I’ll be happy to pass numbers of other taxis who may be able to help.

Just a quick note to say I’ve just taken my last booking for Xmas day. I absolutely appreciate every single one of you who’s booked me over the festive period to get you home safe. I do have a young family at home too who I would like to spend a bit of time with.
I still have a few slots for New Year’s Eve available, I will clock off at 11:45 and back on again at 00:15 so I get to see the new year in with my loved ones but I look forward to seeing you all. For now stay safe and merry Christmas from James 🎄
