A full and rewarding day today — I transferred three clients to Manchester Airport for their trip to a trade fair in Munich, then headed over to Newark Northgate Train Station to collect a lovely couple returning from celebrating a 70th birthday! 🎉

Things have been going really well — I’ve been rushed off my feet lately with runs to airports all over the UK, Southampton, and everywhere in between.

Been in Rugby the past couple of days, driving a client around while he’s out of action with a dodgy shoulder. Had a bit of time to kill before a pick-up, so I went to check out the statue of the man who started my favourite game 🏉 (bet you can guess who!).

Really enjoying the little adventures this new job brings.

🚘 First chauffeur journey to Southampton Cruise Terminal today – and what a way to start! ✨

Two lovely passengers, with all their luggage (including a folding wheelchair), safely and smoothly dropped off at none other than the Queen Mary 🛳️. What a sight she is!

First week completed ✅ and it’s been going great!
Met some interesting people and been through a variety of airports already.

One thing I’ve learned along the way — there are a surprising number of unlicensed and uninsured drivers out there. 🚫🚗
Good insurance is incredibly expensive, but worth every penny. I carry £10 million liability insurance, so you can rest assured all eventualities are covered.

This morning I took a lovely couple to East Midlands Airport to kick off their holiday, then headed down to Heathrow to pick up a businessman flying back from China.
Plenty of miles covered, a smooth day all round, and really excited for what’s ahead in this new role!
