Thank you so much to everyone who attended on Saturday and we hope you had an amazing day 🤩. We even remembered to book the weather 🌞☀️🌞! Thank you for everyone's kind comments about the day and how much you enjoyed it.

Some of you will have known that, unfortunately, 1236 decided it didn't want to play quite early on in the day. Our volunteers worked tirelessly to get it up and running again throughout the day. Sadly, it needed a helping hand to get back home but thanks to the amazing work of Millers of Longton Ltd, it arrived back safely and expertly parked up safely in the shed 🛻

A big thanks must go to all the volunteers who helped out on the day to drive you around, crew the buses, be on hand in Burscough (great tan now!), fix the buses and everything else that goes into putting on an event like this. A special thanks must go to members of the Wigan Transport Trust for stepping in with the newly restored Southport 83 to run a few trips and for Fishwicks 23 for mounting the rescue mission for 1236's passengers. Also thanks to Barrow Transport Group for coming down with the open topper which was incredibly popular...and even carried the Pope at one point (disclaimer: this may not have been the REAL Pope! 😉😂).

🚨🚨LEYLAND FEEDER SERVICE 601 UPDATE🚨🚨

Due to a parade on Saturday morning, there will be a SLIGHT change to the 601 service but don't panic, we'll still get you all.

🚌 Our bus will still pick up outside Market Ale House @ 1125 as planned and will then proceed via Moss Side to Tarleton/Burscough.

🚌 For anyone planning to join at Tesco - Fishwicks 23 will kindly be picking up from there @ 1130 for us to bring you to the event. We are sure everyone will recognise the colours. A local bus for local people 😁

So much time and effort goes into restoring the buses and your donations help to make all this happen. And it isn't just painting them either, there's so much work hiding beneath the skin as well. This is just a taster of what our volunteers achieve 😍💪

As if two new pubs wasn't good enough for you lovely people...we now have a third 🥳

A late but very welcome addition is The Tipsy Turtle in Hesketh Bank. Use the Booths bus stop to alight and sample both here and The Hive! Open from 1200 for the day 😁

You knows it's getting close when the programme is going off for printing!! 🤩

And...GOOD NEWS, we are printing LOTS more this year to make sure everyone has the chance to get hold of one as we know we sold out very quickly last year. 🥳

They will be available on the day from Burscough and on buses 401, 501, 502, 601 and 801.

Here's where we are going on 25th April. There's 16 amazing pubs and venues for you to visit on our buses in this wonderful part of West Lancashire. Buses will be running every 20 minutes on the services.

There's also two new venues this year as well with Ralph's Wife's Coffee & Bar in Banks and The Hive Coffee & Cask on route 301. Make sure you stop by!

We're just under two weeks away now and we're very excited! For anyone planning to use our morning and evening services from Preston, Southport, Hillside, Leyland and Ormskirk, we're please to confirm the following times for those buses.

Bus 401 starts from Guild Ale House and then Preston Railway Station and Penwortham
Bus 501 picks up at The Grasshopper and then Southport Railway Station
Bus 502 picks up from The Windmill - Southport and then Southport Railway Station
Bus 601 picks up at Market Ale House and Tesco for The Stag
Bus 801 runs from Ormskirk Bus Station
