Last night we had the great honour of being invited along to the wonderful Castlewellan Castle for the launch of the 2026 Castlewellan Show a fantastic evening in such an amazing venue made all the better by the fact it stayed dry.
The speeches by the show committee, show secretary and the fantastic guests Philip Campbell Chair of Newry, Mourne and Down District Council and John McLenaghan president of Ulster Farmers' Union were inspiring and motivational. John's 3 words will stay with many of us regardless of our industries.
The countdown is now well and truly on to the 57th Castlewellan Show on the 18th July. A great family day out which brings with it a welcome boost to the Retail, Hospitality and Travel businesses within Castlewellan and surrounding areas.
