The Congestion Charge will be suspended from Wednesday 25 December until Wednesday 1
January 2014, including the four weekdays between Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
The daily charge for driving in the zone will apply again from Thursday 2 January
2014.

On Tuesday 31 December, roads will begin to close in central London from 17:00 to
prepare for New Year celebrations.

On Wednesday 1 January 2014, London's annual New Year's Day Parade will take place
from 12:00 to 15:15, starting at Piccadilly and finishing at Parliament Square.
Roads in and around the event will be closed to traffic from 04:00.

And people wonder why Courier and transport prices are on the up! No claims... 2003 vehicle with 2 named drivers (over 45) doing less than 50K miles per year... the vehicle is valued under £3500..

This Goverment need to address the rip off insurance prices and let small businesses grow..... Rant over!

With just over a month to go until the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic
Games, fleets across London and the surrounding area are also facing an Olympic
challenge. Fleets will face challenges during July-September with up to 800,000
spectators and 55,000 athletes travelling to and from the various venues each day.



Businesses will need to implement a range of initiatives to limit disruption and
ensure that operating efficiency will be maintained.
