IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ALL VISITORS IN THE AREA 🚕✈️

Over the last five days, we have received three emergency calls from people who had booked a “taxi” to take them to the airport, only for the taxi to never arrive. They were left without transport and were desperately trying to find another taxi at the last minute in order not to miss their flight.

We would like to take this opportunity to warn everyone, especially visitors and tourists who may not be familiar with the area:

The only legal taxi companies operating in this area are Taxi Roldán and Taxi Balsicas.

There are other services advertising themselves as taxis, but using unofficial or unlicensed services can put your journey at risk. They may not show up, they may leave you without transport at the last minute, or you could even be overcharged or scammed.

Please do not take the risk, especially when you have a flight to catch.

Before getting into a “taxi”, please check carefully that it is a legal taxi. A legal taxi should have:
🚕 The official TAXI roof sign on top of the vehicle.
🔵 A blue registration plate at the rear of the vehicle.

Please also remember that taxi companies in this area are small local businesses, and there are not many taxis available because we are located away from the major cities. For this reason, we often need to organise journeys in advance in order to provide the best possible service and make sure that a taxi is available when you need it.

At Taxi Roldán, our priority is for you to have a safe, relaxing and enjoyable holiday. We completely understand how stressful it can be to realise at the last minute that your taxi is not coming, especially when you are worried about missing your flight. Unfortunately, this kind of situation can turn what should be a wonderful holiday into a very stressful experience.

Please book with a legal, local taxi company and give yourself enough time. Don't take unnecessary risks with your airport transfer.
