Welcome to Egypt, the land of the pharaohs! An enjoyable trip to one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world, the pyramids and the Sphinx.
The pyramids are a group of massive structures built by the pharaohs in ancient times as tombs for themselves. There are three main pyramids in Giza:
- The Great Pyramid, built by Pharaoh Khufu. It is the largest of the three pyramids and is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
- The Second Pyramid, built by Pharaoh Khafre. It is smaller than the Great Pyramid, but still a massive structure.
- The Third Pyramid, built by Pharaoh Menkaure. It is smaller than the first two pyramids, but still a magnificent structure.
The Sphinx
The Sphinx is a huge statue of a lion sitting on its hind legs and has a human face. It is believed that the Sphinx was built at the same time as the pyramids. It is considered one of the most famous statues in the world.
Our Journey
We will start our journey from Giza where the pyramids and the Sphinx are located, we will tour the pyramids and visit the Sphinx, we will also visit the Egyptian Museum where we will see many artifacts that were discovered in Egypt.
