So recently, after about 1.5 years overall, I finally got the last permit to do every form of Rickshaw business in Cologne. Certainly wasn't easy, and if I had known everything I know now in advance, I could have saved a lot of money. For example, it can make a lot of difference at what time you apply for which permit, because once you did, you have to start paying regularly without necessarily being able to earn money.
Which got me thinking. As far as I know, there's no institution specifically tailored to helping beginners in the Rickshaw business, so why shouldn't I offer that service on the side?
Of course, my experience is rather local, so if you want to start somewhere else, I'll see what I can do. Certainly spent a lot of time researching the ins and outs, and no, you won't find everything you need online, that's what I thought at first, too.
