๐๐ฌ Tyre lifespan: years or mileage?
Many people think a tyre should be replaced simply because it has been used for a certain number of years. But in real transport operations, years and mileage reflect two very different factors. ๐
โYearsโ are more related to rubber aging. Even with low mileage, long-term sunlight exposure, parking conditions, temperature changes, and oxidation may gradually affect tyre condition. โ๏ธ
โMileageโ is more related to tread wear. Frequent operation, heavy loads, harsh roads, and inflation management can all accelerate wear performance. โ๏ธ
That is why tyre condition should never be judged by only one number. Tread depth, inflation pressure, cracks, bulges, uneven wear, and operating environment should all be checked together. ๐ช
๐ What do you check first โ tyre age or mileage?
