It’s with a heavy heart that we share some very difficult news with our PNW family.
Yesterday afternoon, Karen’s brave fight with cancer came to an end, and her new journey began above. 💔
Karen was truly one of a kind — sweet, kind, caring, and always fantastic with both horses and clients. No matter the task, she handled everything with a smile on her face and a positive attitude that lifted everyone around her.
There’s no doubt that Karen leaves behind a hole in the PNW family that can never be filled. She will forever be in our hearts and on every run with us. We’ll cherish every trip she filled with laughter, every spontaneous “pee break” she called along I-5, and every moment she kept the entire team smiling.
Karen has been with PNW since day one. She was a foundational part of building this company and helping grow it into what it is today — and what it will become in the future. Her dedication, work ethic, and heart shaped this team in ways that will last forever.
Karen, we will miss you every single day. We take comfort in knowing you’re watching over every trailer we have on the road. Heaven gained a good one yesterday, and we are so thankful for the time we were given with you. The equine transport industry has lost someone truly special, and her memory will live on with us forever.
