For the first time in over four decades, McCarthy’s Towing & Recovery will be taking all our trucks off the road today —allowing our McCarthys Towing family the time to grieve, reflect, and honour as we say goodbye to the heart and soul of our family business, Aubrey McCarthy.

We honour his wishes by coming together, just as he would have wanted.

𝙏𝙤 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙡𝙤𝙮𝙖𝙡 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮—thank you for your understanding and support as we take this moment to celebrate a life well-lived. Though our trucks will be at rest, our phones will remain answered, ensuring you are met with the same professionalism and care you’ve come to expect from us.

We’ll be back tomorrow, carrying forward Aubrey’s legacy with the same dedication, heart, and commitment he had for his community.

Our business is a family, and today, our family is grieving the passing of Aubrey McCarthy, the heart & soul of McCarthy’s Towing & Recovery Ltd, for over 40 years. ❤️

Aubrey built more than just a business—he built a reputation of trust, dedication, and unwavering service to our community. His commitment to excellence and passion for helping others laid the foundation for what McCarthy’s Towing & Recovery Ltd. stands for today.❤️

Aubrey always had a smile and quick wit that was often seen in every interaction with anyone who knew him. From his over 50 years of service to his Hebbs Cross Fire Department family to his work family and, of course, our large McCarthy family, we are all mourning an incredible loss.❤️
