While my truck "Robin" is in the shop getting a knee replacement (both rear leaf springs), I'm fortunate to have my uncle's truck "Bumblebee" to borrow for an upcoming trip! Big thanks to him for lending me his truck last minute and I think the Bumblebee x Goose pair looks pretty cool!

Small summer update!☀️

Mondays are being added to the regular available trailering days and I have some extra availability around Canada Day from June 28th - July 2nd.

There is also a new discount on round trips over 500km by removing the flat rates and charging all loaded/unloaded miles by the $/km.

Happy summer from Loki and Olivia!🐴

Two more horses moved, now the "fun" part of trailering... The cleaning😂

After each weekend of bookings, the trailer mats are taken out, cleaned off and the interior is washed out. It's tedious, but necessary to keep the trailer in good shape for the next ride!

I offer private horse trailering servicing Nova Scotia. Available 7 days a week for horses up to 18.2hh using a warmblood sized straight load ramp trailer.

Please book as early in advance for a better chance of availability as I normally only schedule one booking per available day. To get a quote, send me the specific pickup and drop off addresses for an accurate cost. Total amount is due upon loading.

Trailering Rates
* One horse flat rate $160 under 40km round trip. $1.25/km for additional loaded miles
* Two horses flat rate $200 under 40km round trip. $1.75/km for additional loaded miles
* Travelling with an empty trailer $1/km under 200km. $0.50/km for additional empty miles
* Discounts for trips over 500km

Mileage is determined from where the trailer is hitched in Bedford to where it is unhitched and parked in Bedford at the end of transport.

Unfortunately, I do not rent my trailer out for others to tow as there are too many variables that risk damaging, destroying, or having my trailer stolen. For me, it's not worth taking the chance.

This is my 2011 Sundowner Charter 2 horse straight load bumper pull with ramp and tack room. Warmblood sized 7'6” tall x 6'9” wide.

I tow it using my 2020 Ford F-150 XLT Super crew 4x4 with Toyo Open Country R/T towing tires (from spring-fall) and Firestone Winterforce 2 tires (during winter). Towing capacity 12,500lbs.

Truck and trailer are fully insured and regularly maintained/repaired as recommended by the mechanic.

I include fresh shavings, two empty 7 gallon water jugs to use during the trip, trailer ties, manure fork and broom.

You need to provide hay nets, hay/grain, water/feed buckets, halters, lead ropes, and shipping boots/helmet if you wish to use them during the ride. I have spare halters, however they may not fit every horse.
