Transport Board - Barbados We are a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) who is tasked with providing public transport in Barbados.

We operate a fleet of buses across the island and offer services from 0500 in some locations up to 12:05 a.m daily.

A free park and ride service will be in place for persons attending the open day and town hall at Kensington Oval, tomorrow, Wednesday, May 29.

The shuttle service will operate from two sites: the playing field at Brandons on the Mighty Grynner Highway and the Barbados Water Authority’s photovoltaic facility at Lakes Folly, St. Michael.

Members of the public are invited to take the guided tour of the upgraded facility from 2:00 p.m., and stay for the interaction with Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley from 5:00 p.m. It will also be an opportunity to meet some of the local legends of the game.

The shuttle service will continue until the end of the town hall with the Prime Minister. Security will be provided at the parking sites.

with JERSEY BARRIERS TO BE CLEANED ON ABC HIGHWAY
From Sunday May 12, KAANN Building and Maintenance Services in conjunction with the Ministry of Transport and Works, will be cleaning the jersey barriers along the ABC Highway from the Graeme Hall Roundabout, Christ Church to Bagatelle, St. Thomas. The work will be carried out daily, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. until Friday, May 31.

Motorists are advised that due to the nature of the work, one lane will be closed and some delays can be expected. Persons are urged to slow down and exercise due care and attention when travelling through the work area.
