Rumours out!

There is a common passion for the AE86 and a staple that these single handily started the beginning of the JDM culture, which can be agreed on my many. It’s amazing to see the passion and love for these cars are potentially going to be continuing into the future, as they are every day finding their way to extinction as they become rarer and rarer.

The word on the street is that these shells will start at around $8500, but you need to buy five at one time at a minimum.

The questions are endless:
- Will this have a negative impact on the original AE86 cars?
- Will the build quality match the original shells or be better?
- How many units will be manufactured?
- Will they need original running gear? Being utilised for re-shell purposes?
- Can you buy individual chassis/body panels?
- Will they be certified with regs and legislation?

More details will come in the future naturally but this is massive news!

Note: who’s gonna get to work with S and R chassis…🤔

We got to see the white R32 GTR 40th Anniversary Show Car in person. This car is was built to show off the catalogue released by Nismo to celebrate their 40th birthday, which comprises of old Nismo logo parts, so this master piece has been completely decked out top to bottom in their line up.

Here at TESA we are dedicated to turning your dreams and visions into a reality.

If you don’t know anything about us, we are an Australian based importer bringing containers and RORO cars from Japan into Sydney, Australia (yes we can then transport to anywhere in Australia).

Containers can house anything will fit ranging from medium sized sedans to intricate interior panels. RORO can bring any vehicles into the country that are 25 years old or on the compliance list.

Touched base with our customer James about how his recently imported Nissan R32 GTR Vspec is going and wow. We hunted meticulously and patiently with James as he was chasing the perfect GTR.

Once we found this gem, we knew based off the advertisement, it was the one. But after purchasing and seeing our agent reports it was set in stone we hit gold, then when it finally arrived in Australia it just got better. Honestly photos just don’t do it justice.

Since purchasing, James has done some tasteful mods which include Nismo LMGT4 wheels, a Tomei exhaust and fresh plates which compliment the car very well.

There is a stigma that cars are rusty and weathered from japan, especially GTR’s (which is definitely seen) but when you know what you’re looking for and patient, the rewards are huge.

This car is another great example which proves that the opportunities of finding clean and well looked after cars are still endless still today. If you want to be like James send us a DM or email!
