Start Moving Transport is a family-owned Transport business located in South-West Sydney, have been in operations for over 9 years. We have extensive knowledge and experience in the industry and an unsurpassed passion and commitment to delivering outstanding service.
We currently have an open opportunity for an experienced Side Loader Operator. Immediate start with on-site parking at Kentlyn.
Hourly rate of negotiable within range of $35 -45 depending on experience.
The role consists of picking up and delivering of containers to and from the wharf terminal and customer premises.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and attributes:
• Hold a current HC/MC Drivers License
• MSIC Security Pass required
• Experience in driving and operating a Side Loader vehicle
• Understanding and respecting our fleet
• Knowledge of Sydney Metro Area and Great Sydney
• Excellent time management
• Filling out daily run-sheets with pre-trip and obtaining proof of delivery from clients
• Value presentation & professionalism always, especially liaising with customers
• Provide proof of Covid-19 Vaccination as per requirements for Freight & Transport
• Knowledge in wharf & container handling desired but not essential
• Experience with terminal / container park systems desired but not essential
