Over the Australia Day long weekend we took part in helping out in delivering much needed cattle feed to the effected areas around the Alexandra region that have been affected by the recent bush fires.
Teaming up with the Need for Feed Australia crew they successfully delivered a total of 76 truck loads and 20+ cars/utes and trailers to those in need, delivering a totally of nearly 3000 bales of hay directly to farms that where affected by the fires.
As well as the need for feed crew, we would also like to thank the lions club, CFA and VIC police for helping our convoy run smoothly and catering us with lunch and refreshments once reaching Alexandra before heading to our designated farms to unload.
It was definitely an emotional trip through the towns seeing what the fires have done but still having the local residents waving and thanking us as well all drove by.
The Australian spirit was very high and being able to help give back to those in a time of need is truely amazing.
