The secret is out 🥳

𝐒𝐓𝐀 𝐃𝐚𝐲

Our annual State Transit buses day is only 4 weeks away. Today we announce the first of our guest buses that will be operating on the additional route 444 service from the Museum to Huntleys Point.

Volvo B10BLE #3880 was built by APG Orana and was new in March 1998. It began its service life in Sydney at Brookvale depot and was transferred to Newcastle in April 2013 where it continued in service until its withdrawal in December 2023. It was sold to Taylor’s Transit group for preservation becoming the first ex STA Volvo B10BLE to be preserved.

3880 will feature in our STA buses day on Sunday 4th August. Stay tuned for further announcements of guest and operating buses. This is an event not to be missed.
