Is your trucks located in Geelong or surrounding suburbs? Not a problem, we have now landed a new customer in Geelong.

We thank Beau from ACUTABOVE Earthworks who has entrusted us to look after his trucks greasing needs on an agreed ongoing basis, with today being our first visit. Greased from head to toe, throw out bearings done, cross shaft on the Eaton gearbox done. Yes there’s 3 on these bad boys!

Over the weekend we yet again had the pleasure of greasing our regular clients trucks and trailers, some of which who have been with us since day one!

It’s that time of the year again, “the mad rush!” So get in touch to have your assets greased prior to laying them to rest for a few weeks over the holidays. Giving you that peace of mind. We attended to Phillips trucks from OG Haulage for their regular grease schedule. We had to work around the crazy weather as we couldn’t reschedule as we are booked out for the next couple of weeks.

Managed to finally crack some very stubborn points too and replaced a few points with better suited 45’s and 90’s.

Remember, we now also offer remote grease points, distribution grease valves, automatic greasers and safety solutions.

Why do you need Remote Grease Points, Divider Valves or Automatic Greasing Systems? Well besides cost and time saving benefits, this technology minimises and in most cases eliminates the risk of injury or death while performing lubrication maintenance.

While exact numbers for maintenance are not broken out in the latest summary reports, historical data highlights specific mechanisms that are relevant to maintenance activities, often occurring in off public road environments (e.g., workshops, depots)
Involving trucks, the following mechanisms were recorded for incidents not on public roads (including maintenance):

* Being hit by moving objects: 50 fatalities.
* Being trapped between stationary and moving objects: 42 fatalities.
* Being hit by falling objects: 31 fatalities.
* Falls from a height: 26 fatalities. 

This data indicate that maintenance-related incidents are a significant, albeit challenging to isolate, component of overall heavy vehicle workplace fatalities.  Data period 2003-2012
