Today, on Anzac Day, we pause to honour the courage, sacrifice, and service of all those who have served our country.

We remember the brave men and women who gave so much, and we extend our deepest gratitude to veterans and their families.

At Driving Miss Daisy, we are proud to support and walk alongside many who have served, and we hold their stories and sacrifices with great respect.

🌼 Today we recognise International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD).

Since IDPwD was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1992, it has served as a reminder that we need to continue breaking down barriers and challenging stereotypes, so that people living with a disability can participate and thrive in the world.

Driving Miss Daisy provides a companion support and driving service for people living with disabilities either privately or through the NDIS. We are passionate about supporting inclusion, accessibility and equity for all people, regardless of their abilities.

Remembrance Day

At the 11th hour, on the 11th day of the 11th month, we pause to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who served our country.

It’s a time to reflect not only on the past, but also on the values of resilience, community and care that continue to guide us today. Many of us remember attending services with school or family, wearing our poppies with pride and standing together in silence.

At Driving Miss Daisy, we believe in the power of connection and remembrance, ensuring that the stories and sacrifices of our servicemen and women are never forgotten.
