In 2011, Australian athlete Turia Pitt was caught in a grassfire during an ultramarathon in Western Australia. She suffered burns to more than 60 per cent of her body and spent years in recovery relearning everyday tasks and rebuilding her strength.

Since then, she has returned to long-distance running, completed the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii and become a well-known advocate for resilience and mindset. She also supports major charity and education programs across Australia.

Her story is a reminder of the power of perseverance and the incredible things people can achieve, even after life takes a difficult turn. 💛
