Bedeker Rural Transport

It’s a huge team effort to get cattle from all over the district into Mortlake and it wouldn’t be possible without the WVLX staff, agents & of course, our amazing team that make it happen.
Jack, Willie, Calum & Adam - your stock sense, patience & dedication ensure the hard work of all our valued clients make it into the yards safely. We’re so grateful & are in no doubt that we have the dream team 💪⭐️

🐃 It takes an incredible network of transport operators to keep the cattle rolling into our yards, and Hermann and his team at Bedeker Rural Transport are always a familiar face at the ramps 🚚 🤠

The live sheep export ban is more than a policy change — it’s a wake-up call.

We now live in a time where “the court of public opinion” can override science, regulation, and best practice. Despite our industry's professionalism, care and compliance, a campaign built on emotion and misinformation has brought down a key part of our sector.
This isn’t about animal welfare reform. It’s about what happens when loud voices get more traction than those living and breathing the work every day.

The threat doesn’t end here:
🚛 Long-haul livestock transport
🥩 Processing and feedlotting
🌾 Intensive cropping
⚒️ Mining and freight

We're calling it what it is: death by a thousand cuts.

Now is the time to unite. To educate. To lead. Because if we don’t tell our story — someone else will.
